The new fully ecommerce tuskstore.com website at our request, was created in October 2004, and is designed, managed and hosted by Netflare. The new site has always incorporated osCommerce and CRE Loaded Ecommerce.

Netflare, after a lot of previous research on our part was the obvious choice to entrust our future in the development and managing the site. Netflare are always at the end of a phone with advice, having an invaluable support network back-up to fix, update product info, adding new products with guaranteed impartial professional advice on all aspects of the website Long may it continue.

We had had a website for eight years prior to engaging Netflare. The old website merely highlighted our products, was not going anywhere and was not ecommerce. I cringe now when I think back to as it was.

The current tuskstore.com besides professionally showcasing our products has the invaluable CRE Loaded Ecommerce back-up without which we could not operate as it provides us not only with in-depth analysis, in real time of where customers come from, products viewed, which magazine advertising they have seen and are responding to or whether a google search but also all the fiscal reports on sales, totals, who’s on-line, what they are looking at, etc. etc. With osCommerce with CRE Loaded Ecommerce back up it has enables us to successfully manage our business, become far more cost effective, cut out wasted advertising and reduce costs. Most of all, our site now reaches not just the private on-line customer as before but large Trade and Business customers who are impressed with the site presentation which instills the confidence to do business with us resulting now with the larger, more cost effective orders.

We manufacture all our own TUSK products and maintain a comprehensive stock of all products. Our stock list has grown over the last 3 years to accommodate the increased sales, new products etc. but our overall expenses, including all materials used we have still managed to reduce our overall expenses by over 13.8% from Jan 05. Ineffective and wasted advertising was eliminated reducing the advertising bill by some 60% off the advertising budget based on data available from the website.
